Hi, I'm Justin John Ryan. Handbuilt Media is my production compapny providing video content and editing services. For over a decade I've helped clients tell stories and create advertisements told through video and audio.

I'm Northwest raised, Tacoma proud. If you ask me our city is one of the best kept secrets on the West Coast. Not too big, not too small and perfectly situated between places to get lost and our urban neighbors Seattle and Portland.
I recently completed an animated logo for the Women's Coaching Alliance to use with their videos.
Working from a jpg I converted the WCA logo to a vector image. After cleaning up the paths I used Adobe After Effects to animate the logo before adding basketball sound effects in keeping with a sports theme..
Motion graphics and sound design
In addition to my leadership on Nordstrom's edting team I work on special projects for our internal partners such as The Nordy Club.
The Nordy Club is the Nordstrom rewards program, giving customers rewards, access and experiences. This promotion was placed on the Nordstrom website and social media channels.
Editing and motion graphics
As an employee for REI Co-op I was the lead videographer and editor for hosted product videos.
Today the Co-op provideds gear and apparel, expert advice, rental equipment, and outdoor experiences. Hosted product videos educated customers about available gear at REI.
